Your Voice Matters: Empowering Our Community Through Voter Education

Thank you to everyone who joined our “Your Voice Matters” voter education event on October 23 at Darius Salaam Masjid in Jamaica, Queens!

Save the People joined APNA Community Services and NYC Votes to share information about voter registration, key election dates, mail ballots, ballot proposals, and preparing to vote.

Sister Erum Hanif, CEO of APNA Community Services, delivered the welcome remarks. Imam Muhammad Shahidullah, CEO of Save the People, conducted the Bangla-language training, helping participants better understand the voting process.

Special thanks to Ting Lin , Senior Neighborhoods Specialist, Community Engagement, at the New York City Campaign Finance Board, and the NYC Votes staff for their valuable support and guidance.
